Grandma & Grandpa Great

We had a real treat this week. Great Grandma & Grandpa Christensen came to visit from Colorado. They moved to Colorado Springs about 9 months ago, so this is the first time they have seen Mia. We had a great time visiting with them....we just wish that they were able to stay longer. Mia was so intrigued by Grandpa's oxygen tubes. Grandpa would take it off and Mia would furrow her brows and get the funniest look on her face. It was too funny!

That's funny! Just wait until she gets a little older and she'll give it a little tug. What a special time you had with them! Have you recovered from yesterday?

I hope Mia has her Great Grandparents around for a long time. What a wonderful blessing. And how cute is Mia?? Love that curling hair.

Mia is so cute! She definitely has Roper genes! I've actually thought about writing to you several times to tell you how sorry I was to hear about Kate. I read about it in the paper at my moms house and broke down in tears after reading it. I saw Melissa Bartholomew about a year after I had my daughter and she told me you had a little girl (Kate's birthday is 1yr and 1day after my daughters). She didn't tell me many details, just that there were some problems and she was still in the hospital. I'm not sure why, but somehow that affected me so strongly. It made me so grateful that Heavenly Father allowed me to have a sweet little girl of my own. I have thought of you and your little girl many times over the last couple of years. Thinking of you has also continued reminding me to be grateful for all that Heavenly Father has blessed me with. I wish now that I would have contacted you before to tell you how much you and Kate have touched my life and you didn't even know it. Thank you!!
