Runner Needed....

We had a runner from our team drop out of the Wasatch Back Relay this year. We are in need of a runner who would be willing to replace her. The relay is June 19th-20th (for more info...check out the website http://www.ragnarrelay.com/). It's an all-women team (Queens of Sole). The cost will be $85 for the registration + $11 for our team shirt + $10 for gas and volunteer gift card/car washes. I've done this race before and it's an absolute BLAST!!! If you or anybody you know may be interested you can e-mail me at: marcaerosenvall@yahoo.com. It's on a first come/first serve basis, so let me know ASAP!

A Day to Remember!!

Memorial Day has a lot more meaning now that we have a sweet little angel to remember. The grieving process is complicated. Just when you think you have a handle on your emotions, there are occasions that intensify those emotions and Memorial Day is one of them. Kate's headstone was not set last Memorial Day, so we enjoyed spending time this year decorating the grave site and talking about Kate and the wonderful memories we had with her.
The cousins had fun drawing pictures on the base of the headstone....thanks to sidewalk chalk.

Mia experienced her first time being on the "greens." Here are a few other pictures of some Fillmore Fun!

A LiTtLe Bit of This......And LiTtLe Bit of That!

Here's just a little peak at what we have been up to lately.
Who can't resist a SpOoN mE??

Mia can't get enough of this YuMmY frozen yogurt!

It's always a party on Grandpa Roper's farm. Here, we are trying to get up close and personal with Grandpa's newest additions......the DuCkY's. They weren't being very outgoing today.

Nothing quite like the first ATV ride!

On Sunday, Primary Children's had a Memorial Tribute honoring all the children that passed away last year. It was such a special program and was comforting spending some time at the hospital and seeing those that cared so much for Kate. Afterwards, we spent the rest of the afternoon at Sugarhouse park feeding the ducks. Mia was more interested in eating the bread than feeding it to the ducks. Silly Girl!!!

I must say that I'm a little disappointed that we went from 50 degree weather to 90 degree weather. SeRiOuSlY!?!?! Where did Spring go??? However, I can't complain about spending some time outside soaking up the sun. We spent the afternoon with Katie and her kids. Katie was one of Kate's nurses in the NICU and we have stayed in touch and have become really good friends. Mia had so much fun with the kids, but had even more fun playing in the pool!

Mia showing off her best side!
And last but not least....This past weekend I ran in the Ogden Marathon. My sister-in-law, Michelle, and I ran it as a relay. I ran the first half and Michelle the second. Michelle rocked it, finishing in just under 2 hours. You wouldn't guess she had a baby just 5 months ago!!!!

4 Down......8 More To Go!!
