Playing Catch-Up

There are times when there's a lull in life and things are pretty chill and then there are times when it seems that you don't have one free second. Well, my life the last couple of months has been just that. At the moment I'm going to say that there is a lull {knock on wood} and so I'm getting caught up on those things that have been put on the back-burner. Catching up on my blog is definitely at the top of my list of things to do. So, here's what we've been up to the last few months. {CAUTION.....many posts to follow}. Stay tuned for even more happenings.

Beach Corn Boil
A few weeks ago we got together with some friends for a corn boil at the beach. I must admit that I had never heard of a corn boil. Basically you fill a tin garbage can full of sea water, prop it over a fire pit and let the corn boil. It is so delicious. We also cooked tin-foil dinners and S'mores. Good times!
Fun at the beach!

Corn boil in action!
......and the finished product. Delicious!

Bryan was totally bummed he missed out on the first corn boil. He had a camp out with the YM that weekend. Looks like we will be doing it again SOON!!!

Hey Marcae,

I was just catching up on all my friends blogs and loved looking at yours! Mia is getting so big and is so beautiful! We miss you guys so much! I swear the next time we are in Cali we will definitely call so we can come visit your wonderful family! We are all good here and just got back from Disneyworld and a Bahamian cruise over UEA which was so much fun! The girls especially loved the cruise and going to a foreign country for the first time. Jeesi is in her senior year now so we are so happy for her! She says hi and misses you too! Hope you have a great Halloween with Miss Mia. Post lots of pictures. Take care!
