4 Years of Marital BLISS!

Bryan and I met in September 2003. We were actually set up on a blind date by one of our mutual friends (thanks Stan). We had both been quite reluctant to be set up on a blind date as we both had our fair share of them. In fact, Bryan had my number for 3 months before he finally decided to call me....and I'm so glad he did. He was in Ohio for work when he called me for the first time and we ended up talking for about 2 hours . We actually talked on the phone for about 2 weeks before we even met.

I Knew there was something special about Bryan when I met him. I had been in the process of moving to a new place and just had my little Honda. At the time, Bryan was car-less and was borrowing his mom's car. We hadn't even gone out on an official date yet when he showed up in a new truck that he bought from the auction, just so he would be able to help me move. He still reminds of the money he lost on that truck :) Because I was moving, I really didn't have time to go on a real date, so one night after we had taken the last load of things to my house, I treated him to Cafe Rio. To this day, he is still mad that I paid for it....hee hee! But, he redeemed himself and took me to the Stein-Erickson Lodge for dinner and it was fabulous!!

Our First Kiss....
Things were going really well and I knew I REALLY liked Bryan. I had been to his house one night and I was telling him some really interesting story.....so I thought.....when he totally interrupted me and went in for a kiss. I was totally caught off guard and I kind of backed away. It was a really awkward situation. So, I didn't know what else to do so I continued on with my story. It wasn't that I didn't want to kiss him, it just wasn't the most romantic setting. I could tell he was a little embarrassed about the whole incident. So, in the end......I ended up kissing him and the rest is history!
We were married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on July 9, 2004. I am married to my best friend and I can't think of anyone I would rather spend the rest of my life with. Here's to many, many more years to come!

So fun!! I love a girl who isn't afraid to pull away and finish the story. That is classic. You two really are so great for one another. We need to hang out soon so we can enjoy a little bit of your marital bliss. Cute announcement by the way. You are so talented.

You are the perfect couple!
I love you guys.
Beautiful pics.
BTW-Bryan didn't loose any money on the truck. It truly was an investment. Look at what he got out of it.

This is such a cute post...you two look so cute together! I, too, was hoping to see you on the 4th...I seen you at the parade, but I totally understand about babies needing naps and maximizing that time! Too bad though...it would've been fun to see you and cute little Mia. Good thing we have blogs :)
