Sleep Deprivation =

1. a sufficient lack of restorative sleep over a cumulative period so as to cause physical and psychiatric symptoms and affect routine performances of tasks or:

2. saying really funny, entertaining things in your sleep

We had a late night the other night and didn't end up getting into bed until about midnight. Since Mia has been sleeping in our room, she seems to always want to wake up for a midnight snack. So, I got her out of bed and started feeding her. Bryan started dozing off to sleep. Just then he mumbles, "I don't have to get up." I said, "I know you don't." He didn't respond back, so I figured he was just talking in his sleep. A few minutes later he says, "I don't have to get up.....the boobies are upstairs." WHAT??? I started laughing so hard and he didn't even stir. The next day I asked him about it and he had no recollection of the incident. It's experiences like this that make lack of sleep all worth it :) Poor Bryan!

That is hillarious! It is so hard when they are so new and don't sleep well...you need to bring Mia over and let me play with her while you take a nap, seriously, I would love it!

The word "boobies" is enough to make me giggle. I'm a 12 year old boy really. Was he referring to you as a person, like you are the boobies? My 5 year old trick or treated in his sleep on Halloween. He even handed me some imaginary candy.

The boobies are upstairs...I think that should be a bumper sticker, I love it! I'm glad you like the bracelet. I thought it turned out cute too, how could it not with your beautiful daughters.

This is the best post ever! I'm totally making a t-shirt that says "The boobies are upstairs." I will sell them, but don't worry--I'll give at least half the proceeds to Bryan.
