Adieu, Adios and Farewell!

Don't let this smile on my face fool you.....
I had been fighting back the tears all day as we were moving the last few things out of our home and into the moving trailer (aka horse trailer). It wasn't until the new owners showed up and started moving their things in that I lost it. This has been our lovely humble abode for the past 4 years. We have created so many wonderful memories and will miss it so much. We made so many fabulous friends who we are going to miss dearly. We do, however, feel so lucky that we were able to sell our home especially in this down market. So, we are now residents of the the southern part of "The Valley of the Happy." Yes, we moved to Provo and are starting to get adjusted. We've been renting out our town home since living in Lehi and so we have moved back into it and will be here until it sells. With Bryan working for a California-based company, the plan is to relocate to the San Diego area by the first of the year. It's still not 100% since there's talk about starting a satellite company in Utah. So we'll know within a couple of months whether there will be a need for us to move to San Diego or not. So needless to say, the last couple of months have been crazy for us, but we're looking forward to a new adventure.

On a different note, I'm still working on my goal of "12 half marathons in 12 months." I just finished the Provo River 1/2 yesterday and am now halfway there. I've been really trying to work on my speed and try and beat my PR. Yesterday I beat it by 6 minutes. My finish time was 1:37:41 (thank goodness it was mostly all downhill......that really helped my time). I'm signed up for 2 more this month. I've really gained a love for running over the past few years. It started out as a means of exercise, but now is more of a stress reliever and very therapeutic. It's definitely my drug of choice :)
My good friend, Mindi, ran her first half marathon and did AWESOME! I think she's hooked!!!

Hey, I just talked to your friend Jaleen in church today. I think that is how you spell her name. She said that you might be coming to St. George sometime for her baby shower. Please let me know. I would love to see you.

YOu are a rock star!! You look so amazing. You inspire me to get back in the running circuit. You are seriously chiseled right now. We need to hang out before you move from happy valley. I still love how you backed me up on the Silverado truck for Jeff. I can still hear you giving him a hard time. You are so great. By the way did you see Brighton's cute tutu on my blog. Yep you made that and it fits her now. So cute I have loved it. You need to do an online baby boutique so I can get you goods. Hope you are good in your new place.

We were in our little house for 8 years and it was a sad day when we left. I don't think I would want to go back in and see how people have changed it. It took us so long to get it just how we wanted and then we left! I can't believe you might be headed to California. Oh i would be so sad for your mom to be far from Mia. But you sound like you aren't sad, and that is a good thing.
Kate's cake was adorbale. What a fun talent to have. And that picture of Mia with the bird on her sholder is so dang cute. I love her little squished up face!

Wow, you are becoming quite the runner! I have been running 3x's per week all summer, but still can't get that "love" for it like you do....any suggestions?

Keep it up - Stacey

WOW! Lots of changes coming up for you guys! You are such a strong person and have such a positive attitude with whatever comes your way. I am so impressed with your time. I think I might be there some day with your running. I would love to do 12 in 12 months, but that just seems soooo cold :) I don't know if I can run in the winter. You'll have to give me some tips :)

Your CRAZY girl. I only wish I could LOVE running but I still consider it a HAVE TO, make myself do it kind of thing. I don't think I will ever beable to say I LOVE it but I love the way I feel after. Youre awesome and I can't believe how many you've done.
Mia is such a little doll. I miss you and can't wait to see you hopefully this weekend.

I am just starting the running thing. I would look at Kerra and Jayci and think that they were crazy for liking it as much as they do. But now, I see...it is addicting. I told myself that I was never going to run, but look at me. Nothing like you of course, but just starting on the 5k's. I don't know about doing a 1/2 marathon. Kerra says that one day, I will want to to run one. We'll see! You look amazing, as always!

I will probably still drive by "your house" because I miss you and don't know my way around Provo. Way to go on the half-marathon, again. You're nuts-o, but I love you. I hope the new digs are treating you well. See you soon!

I am very sad that I was not at church or even around your last week here. Your family will really be missed. It has been fun getting to know you better. I will sure miss you in Primary. In fact Hannah told me how sad she was that the pretty lady didn't get to lead the music anymore. Good luck with everything:)

Well before you go digging up old photos, let me tell you. You may not remember, but those silky purple jams were pretty low cut, so I was careful which picture I picked ;).
Katie did a little digging the other day as was telling me about the photo's she found. I won't go into detail, but it was when she was cheering in Cedar and came to visit us. Do you remember? Anyway, she shredded them. Bless her little heart. But it is scary to think what could be out there!!! Glad I wasn't a teenager in the digital era!

You are one buff chica. Good work Marcae! :) I wish I could've run it with you! However, you would've totally smoked me. There's no way I could run that fast. I'm a 10 min mile kinda girl. :) Good luck on everything with your move. Moving is the worst, and VERY emotional. You guys are solid. I look up to that! You never complain about a new challenge.
