A HUGE THANK YOU to all those who attended the 1st Annual Apple Fest! We had such a great turnout and had a lot of fun. We just want to express our appreciation to all those who participated in the Harvest 5k walk/run. We had close to 100 participants and raised close to $2,000, which will be donated to Primary Children's Medical Center Foundation in Kate's name. Thank you for all the generous donations. We would especially like to thank our fabulous volunteers. Without You none of this would have been possible.
I wanted to post some fun pictures courtesy of kirstin roper photography. For more pictures and 5k results please visit the Apple Fest blog. We hope to see you all next year!

Marc, I'm so glad Apple Fest was a huge success!
It looks like a great and productive --$2,000 for PCMC in Kate's name, woo hoo!--weekend and I can't wait for next year. Sure love ya.
You guys really know how to put on an amazing event.
It was so much fun! Our family will definitely make it a yearly tradition.
I'm so glad we did the 5K and participated in this great day! It was so fun to see everyone and raise money for a great cause!
What an awesome idea! We love PCMC!!
I am sure glad we came down to it. It was alot of fun and my kids didn't want to leave. It really was alot of fun and good see people that we haven't in a while. My dad has already made up mark our calendars for next year!
So my question is - do you have to have ties to Fillmore to attend Apple Fest? (Although we did beat them in volleyball a couple of times back when I played for Richfield High in the early 90s. :) If it's possible, I so don't want to miss this next year. I knew you would raise some money, but $2000? Amazing and what a beautiful tribute...
Marcae,
I'm glad you've decided to do it next year. Way to go 2,000!!! I'm also happy that you have Kate's headstone. We should stop on the way down to St. George. Miss Ya

I was so sad we couldn't come down. I was looking forward to meeting Kirstin before our family pictures. I am glad it went well thought. Next year we will be there.
I love that picture of Merv. Such a great guy. Brings back all my fond memories of Roper Lumber. Where's good ole Larry Kasteller? :)
