Wasatch Back 2005 I am so excited because I get the opportunity to run in the Hood to Coast relay this year. Our good friends, the Henstroms, live in Beaverton, OR and Stephanie signed up with a team this year and they needed an extra runner, so the rest is history.
The Hood to Coast is the largest running relay race in the world. It stretches 197 miles from from Oregon's Mt. Hood down to the Pacific Ocean beach in Seaside, Oregon. The teams consist of 12 runners, who are assigned 3 different running legs. The race is over 24-hours. The Hood to Coast is a lot similar to the Wasatch Back relay here in Utah. Bryan and I ran that 3 years ago and was a absolute blast. It's going to be A LOT of work to get myself into shape before August, but I am looking forward to having something to get me motivated.

Wow, Marc! You are my hero.
I don't mean to make you jealous, but I once walked all the way around our entire block. Without stopping.
Good Luck!
honestly...you truly are AMAZING
Good for you! Hey Carol Hatton used to live in Beaverton, Oregon. She now lives in Hillsboro, I'll have to mention to her that you're doing this.
You are awesome! How far do you end up running? I am impressed. Jeremy just bought me some running shoes, so I am going to try to run a little bit, but nothing like you! Good luck.
I wish so bad that we lived closer because I want to start running but think it might be easier and more fun to run along with someone while doing it. I really need to get my butt into shape. Good Luck!
Wow look how buff you and Brian are in your Wasatch Back picture. I think it's awesome how many big monumental runs you've done in the last few years. Good for you, but I don't know if I would be as brave. You'll do awesome and I bet the run is beautiful. How fun for you. I am totally jealous, I need something to keep me going after Wasatch. The training schedule has been awesome I want to be able to keep it up after I'm done. Good luck, you'll do awesome.
Way to go Marcae! I am so impressed that you are up for something like that already!
