In spinning class tonight.....I had a moment. I was already feeling patriotic with it being election day and having the opportunity to vote. So, the last song of the class was none other than Coming to America by Neil Diamond. Tears filled my eyes as we were all singing TODAY.....TODAY (you've all sung it, I'm sure). It was quite a sight to see (I can only imagine). Good thing all the lights were out. Classic!!!

HaPpY hALlOwEeN!!!
We made quick stop to see Snow White(Laney) and Dopey(Grayden) before going to see the Grandma's and Grandpa's. I must say that is the cutest Snow White & Dopey I have seen!
Lacey and Nate threw a Halloween party on Saturday. I must admit that I do like dressing up. Bryan.....not so much. But, he was a good sport this year. I knew my old uniforms would be useful one day. I've been trying to keep this a secret, but.....I am 6-months along and it's all Coach's fault!!
I voted and the scariest costume award went to Joe Dirt (Nate)....YIKES!!!
Cleopatra(Lacey) and Psychedelic Go-Go Girl(Shelby)
Nate & Lacey sure do know how to throw a par-tay!
Yummy!!!
Maddy the cute little witch!
(disclaimer...no I'm not really pregnant!!!)

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!!!
Kenz, Jalene, Teresa
Me, Gina, Treo
This past weekend was a first. My college roommates (from my senior year at SUU) had a little get-away in St. George. This is the first time that we have all been together since I graduated (7....GASP.....years ago). The highlight of the trip was going to Thriller at Tuachan. If you haven't been before, it is a MUST. This is the 3rd time I have been and it keeps getting better and better.
Tami (actually, Tami's arm), Angie, Lacey, Me, Kelly, Terri, Kaydee
As much fun as I had, I must admit that it was hard leaving Mia for that long. I wanted to post this picture of her. When Bryan picked me up yesterday, his first comment was......"There are a lot of things I can do, and curlers aren't one of them, so this is how Mia went to church..."! What a good sport Bryan is. I actually kind of like the natural look :)

Announcing the arrival of Will.....
On Monday the newest member of our family arrived, Will Roper. This is the 4th of my older brother, Greg and his wife SuSan. Gavin (the proud big brother) made it known they they already had a "Will (wheel)" on their car....he is too funny! We are so excited to have him in our family, especially Mia.....she couldn't keep her hands off of him.
Look at all that hair!!!
Drew couldn't be happier to have a new little brother.Thursday, October 16, 2008
Pumpkins here. Pumpkins there. Pumpkins everywhere!
Last night we made a trip down to Santaquin to Rowley's South Ridge Farms to check out the many, many pumpkin patches. If you haven't been to Rowley's.....it is a must. Our friend's Lacey & Nate have been going for years we were excited to get in on the tradition.

My Favorite Things....

Okay, these are Fabulous!!! Bryan works with a guy who both he and his wife sell these cute leg warmers for tots....Snuggle Legs. They are a perfect alternative to tights because they cover the entire leg without the hassle of dealing the monotony of tights during diaper changes......and to top it off.....they are super cute. They have a kiosk in the University Mall by Gymboree where you can purchase them and other fun baby and tot accessories. They come in all different colors and patterns. They even have some for boys. Check out the website: http://www.snugglelegs.com/.
My Favorite Peeps
I had to sneak a shot of this. Yesterday I went downstairs to find Bryan and Mia watching Baby Einstein together. Who would've thought it could be so mesmerizing (ex. see Bryan's face).

This picture was taken last year at Bryan's EMBA graduation. I wasn't able to attend because Kate had surgery that day. Bryan didn't want to go, but he had worked so hard for 2 years and I thought he deserved the honor. Way to go Babe!Monday, October 6, 2008
S.O.S. (Stoked on Socks)
Our good friends, Katie & Mitch, started a non-profit organization, S.O.S., which provides new pairs of socks to the homeless population and those in need. I wanted to put in a plug for the S.O.S. Sock Hop coming up. Here's the info:

A Little R & R
So, we decided to take a little mini vacay this weekend....and what a perfect weekend it was. We stayed at the Zermatt Resort and Spa in Midway (Thanks K & M). We didn't realize that the package we had was the "Romance" package. So, we were greeted with these chocolate covered strawberries and sparking apple cider!
While Bryan was at the priesthood session of conference, we were pleasantly surprise to have turn down service where they showered our bed with rose petals. How romantic :)
I felt like we were treated like royalty! I don't know how romantic it can actually be with a 5-month-old, but needless to say....she kept us well entertained.

On our way home this morning, we drove from Midway to Cascade Springs and then down the Alpine Loop (possibly my most favorite drive). It was beautiful. I couldn't believe the contrast of the leaves against the snow on Timp. It was breathtaking!

All About Mia....

I have to say that Mia is at the funnest age right now (5-months). She has so much personality and she has me constantly laughing (except for when she wakes up 5 times during the night....yes I said 5 times.....ahhh). I think she is starting to teeth, so she has been a little on the grumpy side lately.
Mia just adores her Grandpa Great
We celebrated Gavin's 5th birthday while we were down in Fillmore. He cracks me up. Instead of a cake this year, he told him mom he just wanted donuts and popsicles. There you have it.
Mia had too much fun playing in the wrapping paper!
